  The Grooming School offers 2 Training Courses:

1. 5 Week (25 day) 
2. 10 Week (50 day) courses designed to your suit your needs

The 5 Week training is $9,950.00 + gst and the 10 Week training is $16,500.00 + gst

If you are wanting to step into the industry then these are the courses for you.

There is a lot more to dog grooming than first meets the eye.

Over the years we have learnt that shorter courses do not give you the work skills or experience needed to be efficient as a competent worker or business owner in the dog grooming industry.

The 5 Week training is fast and intense and the 10 Week will give you greater repetition and learning options.

Because our school is well known throughout the Australian and International grooming communities our students are sought after.

We have connections with corporate companies and vet practices that run a grooming service and also the many many independent grooming businesses and groomers Australia wide who are constantly sourcing staff members.

Many of our past students have also gone on to operate successful businesses and are also another source in obtaining regular employment.

Most times we will find you employment close to your local area and on some occasions can find you a work opportunity prior to commencing your training.

Dog grooming is hard physical work.

During the day there is a lot of lifting dogs up and down from tables and in and out of baths so you will need to be reasonably active and be able to manoeuvre weights up to 40 kg at times (and sometimes more).

Most grooming businesses are very busy and have set hours so you will need to possess a strong work ethic and confidence in your ability to succeed.

A sharp eye for detail is also beneficial and the ability to be able to control scissors, and clippers to remove fur from the animal and also nail clippers to trim nails.

Over the years we have learnt that everyone learns differently.

After discussion with you, we will assess the way we believe is a path that best suits you to achieve your end goal.

Once this is established and with your approval we will commence your training with a clear structure that we mutually agree on, clearly understand and are comfortable with.

Our instructors all have many years experience in the industry and can teach all aspects of dog grooming from beginner to advanced including Master Groomer Certification and Assessment and are there for you during and after your course.
